Wow, CyberEvo and the Panspeed FD3S are coming out. No UK cars though? Would love to see Guglielmi's Audi Elise and the Roger Clark and Zen Performance WRXs.

What US cars are we likely to see out here?

If the entry fee isn't too drastic, i'm going to enter. never driven EC, so should be interesting.
I'll be in Open class because of my RB25, that's fine, the aim is just to drive it as well as i can

I hurd some rumors it was going to be a little on the pricy side becasue of the cost of putting on the event, probally one of those once in a life time type events like the targa for us normal ppl.

Yeah it was crazy to see it getting sideways and laying rubber half way down the straight at the last Superlap. I've read that they were having ATTESSA trouble which meant the car was effectively running 2wd all day. The car also didn't have swaybars, as they weren't finished in time. With a year's more development on the car and all that power getting to the ground, hopefully it will be setting some scorching times. I read on another forum people reckon the winning car will be lapping in the low-mid 1:30's! :o

but in saying that they've had another 12months to develop it LAZY...lets hope it can lay down the power.

 With the amount of money throwned at it I hope they have properly engineered the suspension.

They do, what makes you think they don't?

Prices were very hefty initially, but have come down a bit. Entries now open here: http://www.superlap....009/?page_id=33

Sorry mate was this aimed at my comment of not getting the power down?

It's not so much they don't get it down, it's just that last year they seemed to have troubles with suspension/grip etc.

If wasn't aimed at me, please ignore lol

It was directed more at Lazy's post. As stated above it was an attessa issue rather than suspension issues causing the lack of traction. Suspension should be fine

So you still going?
Any idea how much practice time on track we'll get? I've never been so not familiar with the format

I'm still planning on it, but haven't sent in my entry. I was hoping the schedule would come out so I could get a better indication of track time, btu I think I may just bite the bullet and enter regardless,

This event sounds fantastic.

Would be great if you two and other Silvia's were to attend the event.

Eastern Creek normally have a private practise day the day or the Friday before the event. Would be a good idea for interstate competitors to attend that if they are not familiar with the track.

when i was there last year they had a few morning sessions to warm up get in the grove, then later in the day its all about the big boys.. still looked like a decent ammount of track time thats for sure.

dont forget to setup your fuel loads properly =).. last year i remember a guy who drove his evo there filled up to the brim due to habbit..forgetting hes trying to get the weight down :P.. but some fast evo driving makes the 4MPG power of the evo lose weight quickly =)

Don't bank on much time with the number of people and the drifiting events for the crowd you will see very limited track time. I would think probally 4 sessions of 15min over the 2 days.
